Principal's Message

Dear Parents

On the occasion of the school’s name change, I am proud to be the head of the French International School Cousteau in Vancouver.

The French International School of Vancouver now bears the name of the most famous French defender of the oceans, Jacques-Yves Cousteau, consecrating the decision made by our establishment to significantly engage in ecological concerns and to grant them an important place in our pedagogical curriculum.

The French International School Cousteau is the first international French school to benefit from the formal agreement of the Cousteau Society to bear the name of this distinguished man known for his visionary spirit and devotion to the protection of the deep seas, a major actor in raising environmental awareness and an accomplished artist in both film and photography.

Governance of the School

Though we are a private school, The French International School of Vancouver is a non-profit organization in accordance with the laws set forth from 1997.
