2010/11 tuition fees are as follows (all fees are in Canadian dollars):

Tuition fee discount:

• 2nd child: 10% off the total tuition fees
• 3rd child: 20% off the total tuition fees
• more than 3 children: please contact the school’s office

These fees are based on the payment of tuition & fees in monthly instalments. Discounts are available for one single annual payment (discount of $200) paid before the term starts; or three quarterly instalments (discount of $100), of which the first payment is due before the term starts.

Other expenses

The following expenses are not included in the tuition fee:

• one global payment, due at the beginning of the year, for textbooks, basic school supplies, field and sport trips ($300/year from Grade 1)
• fees for extracurricular activities offered after school (sports, help with homework, arts …)
• fees for before- and after-school care, which is $6/hour per child, with a maximum of $200/month per child (For late pick-ups, a rate of $1 minute will be applied.)
• the bus service from Vancouver to North Vancouver and back (2008/09: $198/month)
• the registration fee for CNED (for Grade 6 and 7 students: $660)

Parent Participation Deposit

In order to promote the involvement of parents in the school, a deposit of $300 per family will be required and reimbursed at the end of the school year if the family has volunteered for 30 hours, distributed throughout the school year, or reimbursed pro-rata if fewer than 30 hours have been volunteered.
